The Manitoba Society of Occupational Therapists (MSOT) is a professional organization that supports the occupational therapists’ professional interests, and strives to be a resource for residents of the province.

The society manages the MSOT Research Fund, which offers three awards and grants:

1. Presentation Award. This award of at least $500 is given annually to at least one occupational therapist presenting at an international or national scientific meeting.

2. Research Methods for Evidence Based Practice Award. This $100 award is granted to the University of Manitoba Occupational Therapy student with the highest grade in the Research Methods for Evidence Based Practice course.

3. The Mary Judd Research Grant. This award, up to $1,000, is presented annually to a member of MSOT or the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists conducting research in the province.
